Founded in 2006, we are a small organization with big ideas! Our primary MART mission is to reawaken positive emotions and inspire a lifelong spirit of adventure in millions of men and women in their middle years. A secondary objective is to revitalize lagging businesses, governmental entities and private not-for-profit foundations by reenergizing on-board leaders, employees and volunteers. From our home office in suburban Des Moines, Iowa, we seek to spread our message throughout the United States, Canada and beyond.

Battling the lingering effects of severe recession, millions of middle-aged North Americans find themselves directionless, dispirited and craving a fresh start. Far too many remain unemployed or underemployed, scrambling to sustain accustomed lifestyle. Countless others have seen retirement savings shrink and face the bleak prospect of several more years in dead-end jobs or uninspiring careers. Among the financially secure, untold millions lack clear personal goals or suffer from diminished expectations, rocky family and social relationships or a monotonous daily routine.

Similar to individuals, a vast number of established enterprises, large and small, have grown old before their time. Management structures, incentives, leadership and employee behavior patterns which once produced excellence no longer cut it. Ill-conceived responses such as wholesale lay-offs, abandonment of historical strengths, a sweeping youth movement or a headlong plunge into the electronic age often make matters worse.

Almost by accident in the year 2000, MART founder Roy Richards awakened to the realization that persons of middle age and beyond need not abandon dreams of a fulfilling vocation, mutually beneficial relationships and joyful, prosperous daily living precisely on their own terms. In like matter, leaders can reinvent lagging enterprises and recharge participant batteries through a multi-stage, hands-on collective renewal experience.

Our MART goal is to bring you along. Our primary products are two books which present comprehensive blueprints for personal and enterprise renewal.
